Emaar Properties Reports 23% Profit Increase for First Half 2026

Emaar Properties PJSC reported a 23% increase in net profit before tax to AED 12.8 billion for the first half of 2026.

Emaar Properties PJSC reported a 23% increase in net profit before tax to AED 12.8 billion (US$ 3.5 billion) for the first half of 2026. The company's revenue rose 21% to AED 23.9 billion, while EBITDA grew 24% to AED 12.9 billion.

Financial performance was driven by property sales totaling AED 26.6 billion and a revenue backlog that increased 13% year-on-year to AED 164.9 billion. The UAE build-to-sell business, led by Emaar Development PJSC, saw revenue grow 34% to AED 13.3 billion.

While international tourism flows softened and impacted the hospitality and leisure sector, the company's retail and commercial leasing portfolio maintained occupancy levels of approximately 98%. Emaar also announced a new AED 200 billion masterplan and contributed AED 200 million to national community initiatives.

Founder Mohamed Alabbar attributed the results to the company's discipline and the economic growth of Dubai, stating that the first half results reflect the discipline, consistency, and long-term approach that define the business.
