Azerbaijan Facilitates Russian Agricultural Cargo Transit to Armenia

The Government of Azerbaijan facilitated the transit of Russian agricultural cargo to Armenia on April 30, 2026. The operation involved seven railway wagons dispatched from the Bilajari station in Baku toward the Boyuk Kesik border point, carrying 279 tons of grain and 203 tons of fertilizer.

This shipment is part of a broader logistical trend between the three nations. Total volumes transported from Russia to Armenia via Azerbaijani territory have reached over 25,000 tons of grain, 1,600 tons of fertilizers, and 68 tons of buckwheat.

In addition to facilitating Russian transit, Azerbaijan has directly exported energy resources to the Government of Armenia, providing more than 8,500 tons of diesel and nearly 4,000 tons of gasoline.
