India Services Exports Grow 13.4 Percent to 38.25 Billion Dollars

The Reserve Bank of India reported a 13.4 percent increase in services exports for July 2026, maintaining a trade surplus of 17.65 billion dollars.

The Reserve Bank of India reported that services exports grew 13.4 percent year-on-year to 38.25 billion dollars in July 2026. While exports increased, services imports rose more sharply, climbing 19.1 percent from the previous year to 20.61 billion dollars.

Despite the accelerated growth in imports, India maintained a services trade surplus of approximately 17.65 billion dollars for the month. Month-on-month data showed exports increased by 5.2 percent and imports rose by 11.5 percent compared to June.

For the period from April to July 2026, total services exports reached 145 billion dollars, while imports totaled approximately 75.14 billion dollars. The central bank noted that these figures for the April-July period are provisional and that year-on-year growth rates were revised based on balance of payments statistics.
