Leaked Listings Reveal Google Fitbit Edge Fitness Tracker
Google is preparing to launch the Fitbit Edge, a mid-range fitness tracker featuring a seven-day battery life and cross-platform compatibility with Android and iOS.
Leaked retail images, marketing assets, and FCC filings have revealed the Fitbit Edge, a new mid-range wearable from Google. Positioned between the screenless Fitbit Air and the Pixel Watch 5, the device is intended to replace the Fitbit Charge 6. It features a bulbous oval display capable of showing notifications and widgets, integrated GPS, and an altimeter for elevation tracking.
The wearable offers up to seven days of battery life and supports a limited selection of apps, including Google Maps, YouTube Music, and Find My Phone. It is compatible with both Android and iOS via the Google Health app. The device will be available in Obsidian, Olive, and Canyon colors, designed to match Pixel 11 Pro models.
Reports vary on specific technical details. Some sources claim the device does not run Wear OS, while others, citing FCC filings, suggest it likely uses a version of the operating system. Physical descriptions also differ, with reports mentioning either a single side button or elongated buttons on both sides. While Google has not officially announced the product, it is expected to launch in October 2026 with an estimated price between $149 and $199.
