Israeli Forces Kill Five Palestinian Children in Six Days

Israeli forces killed five Palestinian children across Gaza and the West Bank within a six-day period ending July 9, 2026. The casualties include a 10-year-old killed by an airstrike on a tent in Gaza, a child killed while fetching water, and another child killed by a drone strike on a vehicle south of Gaza City.

In the West Bank, a 16-year-old boy died during a military raid in the Qalandia refugee camp. Additionally, a four-month-old baby died after an Israeli military checkpoint west of Ramallah delayed access to urgent medical care.

Save the Children documented these deaths and called for an arms embargo on Israel and immediate international intervention. Regional Director Ahmad Alhendawi characterized the killings as "total impunity." These events follow a finding by the United Nations Commission of Inquiry that Israeli authorities have deliberately targeted Palestinian children.
