OzarksMade Releases Beta App to Mimic Samsung Messages

OzarksMade released a beta application titled Messages by OzarksMade to recreate the Samsung Messages experience for Galaxy users in the United States. The move follows the July 2026 discontinuation of Samsung's native messaging service, during which Samsung Electronics directed its users to adopt Google Messages as the default option.

The new app mimics the original service's One UI design, layout, and app icon, providing support for SMS, MMS, group chats, and conversation categories. Because Google does not grant third-party developers direct access to its RCS infrastructure, the app utilizes a Companion Mode. This requires Google Messages to remain installed in the background to maintain RCS functionality.

The application is currently in beta. OzarksMade plans a public release as a one-time purchase priced at $0.99.
