Sungrow Opens Solar and Battery Experience Hub in Queensland
Sungrow Australia opened an interactive renewable energy education center in Maroochydore to demonstrate solar and battery storage technologies to consumers and installers.
On July 21, 2026, Sungrow Australia opened its first Solar & Battery Experience Hub in Maroochydore, located in the Sunshine Coast region of Queensland. Designed as an interactive education center rather than a traditional showroom, the facility allows homeowners, businesses, and installers to engage with live demonstrations of solar, battery storage, EV charging, and intelligent energy management systems.
The hub is powered by the company's own inverter and battery systems and consists of three immersive zones: the Sungrow Journey, a Live Experience Area, and a Smart Hub Experience. The center will host workshops and events for educational institutions and commercial developers to help consumers interact with technologies before making investments.
To mark the opening, the company donated two energy storage systems to local charities. Neil Yang, Channel Sales Manager, stated that the company intends to replicate this hub model in other major Australian towns and cities to expand renewable energy education, local employment, and sustainable infrastructure.
