PMI Electro Mobility Confidentially Files for India IPO
PMI Electro Mobility Solutions has confidentially filed for an initial public offering in Mumbai following a $310 million investment from KKR.
PMI Electro Mobility Solutions, an electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, has confidentially filed draft papers for an initial public offering in Mumbai. The company currently operates a fleet of 3,300 e-buses across 34 Indian cities since its founding in 2017.
The filing follows a recent investment of approximately $310 million by the U.S. private equity firm KKR into the manufacturer and its e-bus platform, Allfleet India. By using the confidential filing process, the company can obtain regulatory feedback while keeping sensitive financial and business data private.
PMI Electro operates in a competitive Indian market alongside listed rivals such as Tata Motors, JBM Auto, and Olectra Greentech.
