Microsoft Unveils Alligator-Shaped Xbox for Grand Theft Auto 6
Microsoft is giving away a one-of-a-kind alligator-shaped Xbox Series X console to celebrate the November 19 launch of Grand Theft Auto 6.
Microsoft unveiled the Xbox Series X-BITE, a five-foot-long alligator-shaped console created to celebrate the upcoming launch of Grand Theft Auto 6. Developed in partnership with creature effects specialist John Nolan Studio, the piece features a fully functional Xbox Series X housed within a realistic reptilian sculpture. The design includes green eyes with X-shaped pupils, an illuminated Xbox Nexus logo, and a custom wireless controller with bite marks in the alligator's jaws.
While the hardware is functional, Microsoft recommends the unit for display purposes only. The company is giving away the single existing console via a social media sweepstakes on X, Instagram, and TikTok. Legal U.S. residents aged 18 and older can enter by reposting the designated post with the hashtag #XbiteSweepstakes through November 10, 2026.
The promotion ties into the November 19 release of Grand Theft Auto 6, which is set in the Florida-inspired fictional state of Leonida. As part of the game's marketing, Rockstar Games is transforming Miami into the game's Vice City. Rockstar Games has also advised players to prepare for a 212 GB installation size by pre-loading the game on November 9 and 10.
