Samsung Unveils Galaxy S26 FE with AI Features
Samsung Electronics Co. announced the Galaxy S26 FE smartphone featuring a 6.7-inch display and AI tools, with sales beginning September 3.
Samsung Electronics Co. announced the Galaxy S26 FE smartphone on August 27, 2026, with a price range between $699 and $700. The device will launch through select carrier partners on September 3, followed by direct sales and other retailers on September 4.
The handset features a 6.7-inch 120-hertz display, a 4,900-mAh battery, and runs Android 17 with One UI 9. To maintain its price point, the phone uses a less capable processor than the standard S26. Reports on the specific hardware are conflicting, with some sources citing a MediaTek Inc. chip and others pointing to an Exynos 2500.
Integrated AI capabilities include Now Brief, Now Nudge, and Google's Circle to Search, while camera software includes My FanCam and Horizontal Lock. Despite these additions, the S26 FE is $50 more expensive than its predecessor and provides less memory and fewer on-device AI capabilities than Samsung's premium high-end models.
