Bahrain Foreign Minister Visits Pakistan for Joint Commission
Bahrain Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani arrived in Pakistan to co-chair the 3rd Session of the Pakistan–Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission.
Bahrain Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani began a two-day official visit to Pakistan on October 7, 2026. The visit follows an invitation from Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar to co-chair the 3rd Session of the Pakistan–Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission.
The two ministers intend to review bilateral relations and expand cooperation across several sectors, including trade, investment, economic cooperation, defense, security, labor, manpower, and cultural exchanges. Their agenda also includes discussions on regional and international developments and coordination within multilateral forums.
This diplomatic engagement follows a June visit by General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, commander of the Bahrain National Guard. During that trip, the general met with Pakistani tri-services chiefs to discuss training initiatives and regional stability.
