Accenture and Google Launch Gemini AI for Federal Agencies

Accenture and Google introduced Gemini launchpads to help U.S. federal agencies deploy agentic artificial intelligence through embedded engineering support.

Accenture and Google announced the launch of Gemini launchpads on October 19, 2026, to assist U.S. federal agencies in deploying agentic artificial intelligence. The initiative embeds forward-deployed engineers within government agencies to build AI agents utilizing Google's Gemini models.

These AI agents integrate directly into core government systems, enabling agencies to centrally manage datasets, prioritize specific use cases, and handle deployment. The offering also includes workforce training to ensure public servants can effectively utilize the new technology.

Karen Dahut, CEO of Google Public Sector, stated that the collaboration moves governments beyond incremental modernization by equipping public servants with intelligent capabilities to navigate complex systems, accelerate critical decisions, and deliver at the speed of mission.
