Sony Launches Bravia 9 II True RGB Television Lineup
Sony launched the Bravia 9 II television series featuring True RGB architecture and a record-breaking 115-inch flagship model.
Sony launched the Bravia 9 II series, a flagship television lineup introducing True RGB architecture. This technology replaces conventional white or blue backlighting with independently controlled red, green, and blue LEDs, allowing for expanded color volume and brightness targets of 4,000 nits. The series competes with OLED displays, though some reviews note persistent blooming during off-axis viewing and a bulkier physical design.
Sony expanded its home screen offerings with a massive 115-inch model, the largest the company has ever produced. In India, this flagship variant is priced at a best-buy rate of Rs 28,99,990 and features a 12-speaker Acoustic Multi-Audio+ system. Other models in the portfolio range from 55 to 115 inches, with UK and US pricing for 65-inch units starting at £3,499 and $3,599, respectively.
The lineup incorporates a new anti-reflective display on most models, though the 115-inch variant excludes the Immersive Black Screen Pro treatment. The televisions run on Google TV, with Gemini AI capabilities scheduled for a future update. The products are available through Sony Centres, exclusive stores, and major e-commerce platforms.
