Kim Jina Leads South Korean Delegation to Pax Silica Summit

Kim Jina, the 2nd Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, is leading a diplomatic delegation to Washington, D.C. to participate in the second Pax Silica Summit from June 25 to 26. Hosted by the United States Department of State, the summit serves as a high-level consultative initiative for like-minded nations aiming to secure and stabilize a resilient end-to-end artificial intelligence supply chain.

As a precursor to the summit's main proceedings, Kim Jina and the U.S. head of delegation are scheduled to hold a vice ministerial-level bilateral meeting on June 24. This meeting is designed to address critical issues regarding bilateral economic cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the United States, focusing on the shared economic interests and strategic partnerships necessary to support advanced technology sectors.

The summit emphasizes the growing necessity for international cooperation to prevent vulnerabilities in the AI hardware and software pipeline.
