Nestle India Net Profit Surges 48 Percent in First Quarter
Nestle India reported a 48 percent increase in consolidated net profit for the first quarter of FY2026-27, driven by strong volume and export growth.
Nestle India reported a 48 percent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the first quarter of FY2026-27, reaching approximately Rs 959 crore. Consolidated revenue from operations rose 25.16 percent to Rs 6,378.2 crore, while standalone profit after tax reached Rs 975.1 crore.
Chairman and Managing Director Manish Tiwary attributed the performance to volume expansion and a 25 percent increase in domestic sales. All four product groups—confectionery, beverages, prepared dishes, and milk products—posted double-digit growth. The company specifically noted that Kitkat continues to gain market share and identified quick commerce as a primary growth lever for its e-commerce operations.
To support brand investments, advertising expenditures increased by over 40 percent. Despite geopolitical headwinds, exports grew by 35.6 percent. Regarding commodities, the company warned that erratic rainfall and El Niño-linked monsoon conditions are pressuring cocoa and sugar supplies, though coffee remains well-supplied despite short-term volatility in Brazil.
