North Macedonia Cuts Retail Gasoline Prices by Five Denars

The Energy Regulatory Commission reduced retail gasoline prices in North Macedonia effective October 27, 2026, citing global petroleum market trends.

The Energy Regulatory Commission reduced retail gasoline prices in North Macedonia by five denars per liter effective October 27, 2026. Under the new pricing, EUROSUPER BS-95 is set at 91 denars per liter and EUROSUPER BS-98 at 93 denars per liter. The price of EURODIESEL remains unchanged at 99 denars per liter.

Other fuel adjustments include a half-denar decrease for extra-light household oil, bringing it to 110 denars per liter, and a 0.694 denar increase for fuel oil (mazut) to 54.273 denars per kilogram.

The commission attributed these changes to fluctuations in the exchange rate between the denar and the US dollar and global petroleum market trends. Specifically, the regulator noted an 8.12 percent decrease in global gasoline reference prices, while diesel reference prices saw a 0.404 percent increase.
