BJP Condemns Congress Over Ram Temple CEO Appointment

The Bharatiya Janata Party accused the Indian National Congress of an anti-Army mindset after it questioned the appointment of a retired Air Marshal as Ram Temple CEO.

The Bharatiya Janata Party condemned the Indian National Congress for questioning the appointment of retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra as the first Chief Executive Officer of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. BJP National Spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari characterized the skepticism from Congress leaders as a reflection of an anti-Army mindset and an expression of hatred toward the Armed forces.

While the BJP and the saints community welcomed the appointment of Mishra, who previously commanded forces during Operation Sindoor, Congress leaders questioned the rationale for placing a military veteran in charge of religious affairs. Some Congress members suggested the appointment was intended to obscure controversies regarding donations and theft.

During a press conference in New Delhi, Bhandari also accused Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and his wife of operating an institutionalized corruption and extortion racket, presenting audio recordings to support the claims.
