Tripura Chief Minister Reviews State Development and Welfare Projects
Manik Saha directed state officials to prioritize public convenience and increase awareness of government initiatives during a Task Monitoring System review meeting.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha chaired a Task Monitoring System meeting via video conference from the State Civil Secretariat to review the progress of development projects and public welfare programs. He instructed government departments and district administrations to prioritize public interest and ensure that infrastructure work does not create unnecessary hardship for citizens.
During the session, Saha called for stronger inter-departmental coordination across the health, education, and security sectors. He issued specific directives for the pediatric department at Kumarghat Hospital and addressed the management of non-communicable diseases and malaria in the Dhalai district. On education, he emphasized the need to maintain teaching standards and the quality of the Mid-Day Meal program.
Saha also urged District Magistrates to oversee the beautification of tourist destinations and ensure the timely disbursement of social security allowances. He stressed that officers at all administrative levels must maintain close contact with the public to increase awareness regarding government development works.
