Ooma Launches StarDial Home Phone Bundle for Starlink Users

Ooma, a California-based VoIP provider, launched StarDial, a home phone bundle priced at $129.99 specifically for users of SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet service. The system includes a cellular base station and a high-definition cordless handset that connects to Starlink Wi-Fi, offering a landline alternative for rural and remote U.S. consumers.

The product addresses a gap in connectivity for users facing unreliable cellular coverage and the phased retirement of traditional copper phone networks, such as those being decommissioned by AT&T by 2029. StarDial provides unlimited nationwide calling and address-based 911 service. Users can optionally add an Ooma Premier subscription for $9.99 per month to include international calling to Canada and Mexico.
