Lightspeed Commerce Reports First-Quarter 2027 Revenue of $322.7 Million

Lightspeed Commerce Inc. announced first-quarter 2027 financial results on July 30, 2026, reporting total revenue of $322.7 million. The company achieved 17% organic revenue growth, exceeding its own outlook, and narrowed its net loss to $2.4 million from a $49.6 million loss in the prior-year period. Growth was primarily driven by North American retail and European hospitality, with the latter seeing 20% year-over-year revenue growth.

As part of its strategic reorganization, the company divested its non-core Upserve U.S. hospitality product line to Skyview Equity for up to $81 million. Lightspeed also executed a share repurchase program, cancelling seven million shares totaling $86 million. In a leadership change, the company appointed Bhawna Singh as Chief Technology Officer in May 2026.

Lightspeed maintained its full-year revenue projection for Fiscal 2027, estimating total revenue between $1.225 billion and $1.265 billion. Executives characterized the period as a strong start to the fiscal year, emphasizing an acceleration in product innovation and AI capabilities.
