Nigel Farage Demands Arrest of Green Party Leader Zack Polanski

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage demanded the arrest of Green Party leader Zack Polanski after Polanski shared an Instagram post featuring a man in a T-shirt with a guillotine image and the slogan "We're only making plans for Nigel." Reform UK reported the incident to the Metropolitan Police and the Greater London Assembly, with party representatives including Robert Jenrick and Zia Yusuf characterizing the post as incitement to murder.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed they are conducting enquiries into the matter following a third-party report received on July 27, 2026. The controversy follows the recent murder of Reform UK spokesperson Ann Widdecombe, for which Joshua Kerry has been charged.

Polanski subsequently removed the post. A Green Party spokesperson explained that the image was part of a social media collaboration and that Polanski unshared the content immediately once the specific image was brought to his attention. The spokesperson added that Polanski "unequivocally does not support this type of dangerous message." Sabcat Printing, the business that produced the T-shirt, removed the item from its website following the backlash.
