Lambda Seeks $4 Billion Funding Ahead of 2027 IPO
Lambda is seeking $4 billion in funding led by Blackstone and Coatue Management to scale operations before a planned 2027 initial public offering.
Lambda, a cloud-computing company backed by Nvidia, is seeking to raise up to $4 billion in a funding round led by investment firms Blackstone and Coatue Management. The company is targeting a pre-money valuation of $14.5 billion.
This capital raise serves as the final funding round before a planned initial public offering scheduled for 2027, though the company noted the IPO remains subject to market conditions and execution.
Demand for the company's services has surged recently. According to a letter to limited partners, Lambda's backlog of unfilled orders grew from $15 billion in June to $50 billion in September.
