Pokémon Pokopia Surpasses Five Million Units Sold

Nintendo Co., Ltd. and The Pokémon Company announced that Pokémon Pokopia has sold over five million units since its March launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Nintendo Co., Ltd. and The Pokémon Company announced that global sales of Pokémon Pokopia have surpassed five million units across physical and digital versions. The life simulation title, which features a Ditto protagonist, launched on March 5, 2026, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2.

The game reached this milestone just over four months after its release, growing from an initial 2.2 million units sold during its first four days on the market.

To coincide with the sales announcement, the companies released a free software update that introduces a Dive move for underwater exploration. They also launched the first part of a paid Expansion Pass titled Bubbly Basin, with additional content planned for release in late 2026 and throughout 2027.
