Allegiant Air Adds Nine New Nonstop Routes to Florida
Allegiant Air is launching nine new nonstop routes to Florida in February 2027, including a year-round service between Cincinnati and Orlando.
Allegiant Air is expanding its United States network with nine new nonstop routes starting in February 2027, primarily to meet spring break travel demand in Florida. The expansion includes a year-round service between Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and Orlando International Airport beginning February 12, for which bookings are now open.
Eight of the new routes are seasonal or hyper-seasonal, connecting cities such as Boston, Providence, Grand Forks, and Portsmouth to Florida destinations including Orlando Sanford, Punta Gorda, St. Pete-Clearwater, Fort Lauderdale, and Sarasota. Most of these flights will operate from mid-February through April or May 2027 to increase capacity during peak leisure travel periods.
The addition of the Cincinnati to Orlando route follows a summer milestone where the airline served its 10 millionth customer at the Cincinnati airport since beginning operations there over a decade ago. Allegiant currently serves 23 nonstop destinations from that facility. Chad Summe, Chair of the CVG Airport Board, noted that Orlando is consistently one of the most popular travel destinations from the region.
