Cyera Signs Intent to Acquire Oasis Security for $1 Billion
Cyera signed a letter of intent to acquire Oasis Security for $1 billion to unify identity and data security for AI agents.
Cyera, an Israeli cybersecurity company, signed a letter of intent on Tuesday to acquire Oasis Security for approximately $1 billion. The transaction consists of roughly $700 million in cash and the remainder in Cyera shares. Following the completion of the acquisition, Oasis Security will operate as an independent unit within Cyera.
The acquisition aims to integrate Oasis Security's specialization in non-human identity and AI agent access management into Cyera's data security platform. This move follows a $600 million fundraising round that valued Cyera at $12 billion. The company intends to provide a unified system for Fortune 500 organizations to manage how sensitive data is accessed by both human and non-human entities.
CEO Yotam Segev stated the deal is designed to protect the "agentic enterprise," noting that non-human identities within Fortune 500 companies have increased by nearly 500% over the last six months. The integration seeks to address the specific security challenges introduced by the proliferation of AI agents in the modern corporate environment.
