Saudi Arabia Launches Package Visa to Streamline International Tourism

The Saudi Tourism Authority launched the Package Visa to integrate visa applications directly into curated travel bookings for eligible international visitors.

The Saudi Tourism Authority launched the Package Visa on July 7, 2026, a digital initiative that integrates tourist visa applications directly into curated travel bookings. The system allows eligible travelers to arrange flights, accommodation, and visas through a single integrated process via accredited travel and tourism service providers. Bundled packages may also include cultural experiences and events, with pricing starting at SAR 4,000 and a minimum stay requirement of two days.

The program is currently in a pilot phase available to citizens of seven countries: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Egypt, Jordan, and Mexico. Bookings can accommodate groups of up to 14 people. This rollout serves as a precursor to a broader global release as part of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 strategy to boost international tourism.

Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al Khateeb stated that the initiative is intended to simplify the visitor journey and strengthen collaboration across the tourism ecosystem. This move follows previous entry simplifications, including the e-Visa, visa on arrival, and the Stopover Transit Visa, which collectively helped Saudi Arabia welcome more than 29 million inbound visitors in 2025.
