Ontario Schedules 20 Highway Closures Across Peel Region

The Province of Ontario scheduled 20 roadwork closures across provincial highways in the Peel region for October 27, 2026. The maintenance affects multiple major routes, including Highways 401, 403, 410, 9, 10, and the Queen Elizabeth Way.

Closures are distributed across Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon. In Mississauga and Brampton, motorists face alternating lane closures on Highway 410, alongside various lane restrictions on Highways 401 and 403. In Caledon, roadwork is concentrated on Highways 9 and 10.

While some closures are continuous, the majority consist of nightly lane restrictions. Authorities advised motorists to expect delays, particularly during periods of heavy traffic.
