Pakistani Drone Strikes Kill Five Civilians in Balochistan
The Military of Pakistan conducted drone strikes in Balochistan killing five civilians amid ongoing clashes with the Baloch Liberation Army.
The Military of Pakistan conducted drone strikes in the Ziarat and Kech districts of Balochistan on October 21, 2026, killing three civilians and critically injuring two others. In the Anzargi area of Ziarat, a strike killed a shepherd and wounded two people, while a separate strike on a vehicle in the Dashtuk border area of Kech killed civilians Shah Jan and Samad Jan.
These incidents follow a series of reported civilian casualties in the region. A strike in Balicha on September 24 killed four men, and a quadcopter-related explosion in Panjgur previously killed two children.
Parallel to these strikes, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed its fighters killed approximately 14 Pakistani military personnel during a clash in the Mohammad Khel area of Panjpai on September 25. The BLA reported that three of its own members, including Abdul Hameed and Naseeb, died while repelling a Pakistani offensive supported by drones.
