Kamala Harris Schedules Campaign Stops in Mississippi and Wisconsin

Kamala Harris will campaign for Democratic candidates Scott Colom in Mississippi and David Crowley in Wisconsin ahead of the November 3 elections.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris will visit two key states in late October to support Democratic candidates ahead of the November 3 general election. On October 22, Harris will travel to Columbus, Mississippi, to campaign for U.S. Senate candidate Scott Colom, a district attorney challenging Republican incumbent Cindy Hyde-Smith.

Colom is receiving broad support from high-profile Democrats, including Senators Raphael Warnock and Cory Booker, former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and former President Barack Obama, who recently released an advertisement for the campaign. Colom stated that Harris is joining the effort to fight for raising the minimum wage, lowering costs for families, and protecting rural hospitals and healthcare.

Following the Mississippi visit, Harris will campaign in Wisconsin on October 26 for gubernatorial nominee David Crowley. Crowley, the Milwaukee County Executive, has also earned endorsements from Obama and Maryland Governor Wes Moore. The Wisconsin campaign intends to focus on expanding healthcare access and reducing costs for working families. Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Tiffany has not yet commented on the scheduled visit.
