First Abu Dhabi Bank Joins UAE-India Start-Up Series 2.0

First Abu Dhabi Bank became the exclusive strategic banking partner for the UAE-India Start-Up Series 2.0 to help Indian start-ups enter the UAE market.

First Abu Dhabi Bank signed an agreement to become the exclusive Strategic Banking Partner of the UAE-India Start-Up Series 2.0 during Investopia Ahmedabad. The deal was finalized in the presence of UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

Led by the UAE-India CEPA Council and delivered in partnership with Abu Dhabi's tech ecosystem Hub71, the initiative provides high-growth Indian start-ups with a banking platform and connections to government stakeholders and investors. The bank intends to offer these companies a trusted banking foundation as they begin their operations in the UAE.

This partnership aligns with a broader strategic economic objective to increase bilateral trade between the UAE and India from more than USD 100 billion to USD 200 billion by 2032.
