QatarEnergy Reduces Premium Petrol Prices for August 2026
QatarEnergy lowered the price of premium-grade petrol to QR2 per litre for August 2026 while keeping super-grade petrol and diesel rates unchanged.
QatarEnergy announced the fuel price list for August 2026, implementing a price reduction for premium-grade petrol. The rate for premium-grade petrol fell to QR2 per litre, down from the QR2.05 price recorded in July.
Prices for other fuel types remained stable. Super-grade petrol is priced at QR2.10 per litre, and diesel remains steady at QR2.05 per litre.
These monthly price adjustments have been issued by the company since September 2017. The rates are pegged to international market levels as determined by the Ministry of Energy of Qatar.
