Jaguar Land Rover Expands EV Charging Network Across Europe

Jaguar Land Rover partnered with HERE Technologies and Digital Charging Solutions to provide EV drivers access to 1.1 million chargers across 29 European countries.

Jaguar Land Rover has expanded its electric vehicle infrastructure through new partnerships with HERE Technologies and Digital Charging Solutions. These collaborations provide plug-in hybrid and battery electric vehicle owners access to 1.1 million public chargers across 29 European countries, integrating hundreds of charging point operators in both urban and rural areas.

Through the partnership with HERE Technologies, JLR is integrating an EV Charge Point feature that provides real-time, compatible charger data on in-vehicle displays. This system uses predictive availability and intelligent routing to reduce range anxiety. The rollout begins in the United Kingdom and Europe, with plans to expand into Australia and New Zealand. The feature supports models manufactured from 2020 onwards, including Range Rover, Defender, Discovery, and Jaguar models.

Complementing the software integration, the agreement with Digital Charging Solutions allows drivers to locate chargers and manage monthly billing via the InControl Remote app. JLR is issuing complimentary branded charging cards to new and approved used vehicle buyers. These infrastructure updates precede the scheduled 2026 launch of the Range Rover Electric.
