The Government of China plans to raise at least 2.2 trillion yuan, approximately 330 billion dollars, through bond sales during the final two months of 2026. This initiative aims to stimulate economic growth and follows 11.15 trillion yuan in net financing already raised as of October 23, 2026.
Estimates from China Chengxin International Credit Rating Co. and Industrial Securities indicate that this issuance would be the second-highest total for this period on record. It is surpassed only by the stimulus spending levels seen in 2024.
