Qatar National Bank Reports 4.65 Billion Riyal Q3 Profit

Qatar National Bank increased third-quarter net profit by 4.9 percent despite regional trade disruptions caused by the ongoing war between the United States and Iran.

Qatar National Bank reported a net profit of 4.65 billion Qatari riyals ($1.28 billion) for the third quarter of 2026, a 4.9 percent increase over the previous year. For the first nine months of the year, the bank's net profit rose 4 percent to 13.3 billion riyals, while loans and advances grew 6 percent to 1.061 trillion riyals.

Group Chief Executive Abdulla Mubarak Al-Khalifa stated the bank will target investments in real estate, expanding businesses, and digital infrastructure. He noted the bank's goal is to convert financing opportunities into durable earnings through disciplined capital commitment.

These financial gains occurred amid regional economic disruptions stemming from a war between the United States and Iran that began in February. The conflict has specifically impacted trade and shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. Parallel to these financial developments, Qatar is implementing its National Cyber Security Strategy 2024–2030 to protect critical infrastructure and support economic diversification under the Qatar National Vision 2030.
