Republican Senators Demand Representative Max Miller Resign Over Abuse Claims
Senator Jim Banks and four other Republicans called for Representative Max Miller to resign following allegations of physical abuse against his family and a former colleague.
U.S. Senator Jim Banks and four other Republican senators, including Bernie Moreno, Jon Husted, Tim Sheehy, and Roger Marshall, have demanded the resignation of Representative Max Miller. The calls for his departure follow allegations of physical and emotional abuse involving Miller's toddler daughter and his former wife, Emily Moreno, which surfaced during divorce proceedings.
Further accusations were made by former White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham, who alleged that Miller pushed and slapped her. Despite these claims, Miller denied all allegations in a public video and stated he will not step aside.
Because the withdrawal deadline has passed, Miller remains on the ballot for the November general election. He is scheduled to face Democratic opponent Brian Poindexter for his seat representing northeast Ohio.
