Apple Tests 7-Inch Display for iPhone 20th Anniversary Model

Apple Inc. is testing its largest iPhone display to date, according to reports from industry leaker Digital Chat Station. The company is proofing a screen with a physical size of 6.96 inches, which would likely be marketed as a 7-inch display. The device is expected to launch in 2027 to mark the 20th anniversary of the iPhone.

There is conflicting information regarding the device's placement in the product lineup. Some reports suggest the design is reserved for a special standalone anniversary edition, while others indicate the larger screen may appear on the iPhone 19 Pro and Pro Max models.

Additional rumors suggest the anniversary device could feature an A21 Pro chip built on a 2-nanometer process, 16GB of RAM, and a 6,000mAh battery with 40W wired charging. The estimated price point for the device is around Rs 1,89,900. Apple has not officially confirmed these specifications or the existence of the anniversary model.
