NVIDIA Pledges $1 Billion to Expand U.S. Super Intelligence

Nvidia Inc. committed $1 billion over five years to advance U.S. research in quantum computing, healthcare, and energy security through the federal Genesis Mission.

Nvidia Inc. announced a $1 billion commitment over the next five years to expand United States capacity for super intelligence research and development. The investment targets strategic fields including quantum computing, healthcare, energy security, fusion, accelerator design, and microelectronics.

Through this pledge, the company serves as a leading industry partner in the federal Genesis Mission and a collaborator on phase 2 awards. The initiative aims to embed the company's hardware and software deeply within the federal research apparatus to ensure long-term government demand across multiple budget cycles.

This commitment builds upon existing infrastructure projects, including the construction of the United States Department of Energy's largest research supercomputer at Argonne National Laboratory. The company has also delivered seven additional systems across Argonne and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
