Pakistan Remittances Hit $3.63 Billion in July 2026

Pakistan received $3.63 billion in overseas remittances in July 2026, a 13% year-on-year increase driven largely by inflows from Saudi Arabia.

Pakistan recorded approximately $3.63 billion in remittances from overseas workers in July 2026. According to data from the State Bank of Pakistan, this figure represents a 13% increase compared to July 2025 and a growth of 4.5% to 5% over June 2026.

Saudi Arabia served as the primary source of these inflows, contributing $913.9 million. Other significant contributors included the United Arab Emirates with $737.3 million, the United Kingdom with $555.5 million, and the United States with $317.2 million.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the growth, stating that "the rise in remittances reflected the continued contribution of overseas Pakistanis to the country's economy." He noted that these inflows support national economic stability and growth.
