Sandisk Forecasts Revenue Growth Ahead of October 29 Earnings
Sandisk expects significant revenue growth for its fiscal first quarter of 2027, driven by high demand for AI-related NAND flash memory.
Sandisk will report its fiscal first-quarter 2027 earnings on October 29. The company has provided revenue guidance of $10.55 billion at the midpoint, which would represent a 346% year-over-year increase. Wall Street analysts have set a slightly higher expectation of $10.7 billion in revenue and earnings of approximately $46 per share.
Since spinning off from Western Digital Inc. in February 2025, the company has grown rapidly due to the artificial intelligence infrastructure boom. This demand for NAND flash memory in data centers, smartphones, and computers led to a 372% year-over-year revenue increase in the fiscal 2026 fourth quarter ending July 3, with operating income rising from $18 million to over $7 billion.
To stabilize against the cyclical nature of the memory market, the company implemented a new business model featuring multiyear agreements with eight clients and a partnership with SK Hynix to standardize memory components. This growth trajectory aligns with a recent report from Micron Technology, which saw a 379% year-over-year revenue increase and forecast tight supply-and-demand conditions for memory and storage through fiscal 2028.
