First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Inaugurates PBAT Door-to-Door Headquarters

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu opened the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement headquarters in Abuja to mobilize grassroots support for President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election.

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu inaugurated the national headquarters of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Abuja on Friday, October 23, 2026. The event, attended by Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu, established a strategic hub to promote the administration's Renewed Hope Agenda and secure President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election in 2027.

Convened by Grand Patron Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, known as Tompolo, the movement is shifting its strategy away from conventional rallies toward a grassroots network of ward ambassadors. This approach focuses on direct engagement with citizens in households, markets, and workplaces. To support this national program, the organization has already deployed over 300 branded campaign vehicles across all geopolitical zones, including states such as Katsina, Borno, and Kano.

During the ceremony, Oluremi Tinubu described the new office as a hub for ideas and claimed that technology-driven job creation and foreign investment are increasing under the current government. The inauguration was marked by security tensions, with police deploying tear gas twice to manage crowds of APC supporters at the venue.
