GCB Bank Hosts Afro-Asia Seminar to Boost Ghana Investment

GCB Bank hosted the Afro-Asia Investor Seminar to connect Asian business leaders with investment opportunities in Ghana's mining, manufacturing, and agribusiness sectors.

GCB Bank hosted the GCB Afro-Asia Investor Seminar under the theme Bridging Markets, Building Futures to strengthen trade and investment links between Ghana and Asian markets. The event connected Asian business leaders and prospective investors with opportunities in sectors including mining, manufacturing, agribusiness, infrastructure, and pharmaceuticals.

To facilitate market entry, representatives from the Ghana Investment Promotion Authority and the Ghana Free Zones Authority provided guidance on regulatory environments and available incentives. The bank's Research and Strategy team supported these efforts by presenting economic outlooks and financing solutions designed for cross-border trade.

Aurelia Baaba Odame, Head of SOE and Afro-Asia Banking at GCB Bank, stated that the initiative aims to help investors understand the local landscape and connect them with institutional support to foster long-term economic ties.
