Apple Plans 16 New Products Through First Half 2027

Apple Inc. is executing an ambitious product roadmap to launch at least 16 new devices between late 2026 and the first half of 2027. Led by new CEO John Ternus, the strategy focuses on integrating a revamped, AI-powered Siri across the hardware ecosystem to improve context understanding and AI competitiveness. This follows the recent Surprise and Shine event, where the company debuted the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Duo.

By the end of 2026, the company expects to release seven products, including an iMac and a basic MacBook Pro featuring the M6 processor. Other late-2026 releases include an OLED iPad mini, updated Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini models, and a smart-home hub with a 7-inch touchscreen. Reports also indicate the debut of a touchscreen MacBook with an OLED display, potentially branded as the MacBook Ultra.

The first half of 2027 will see the release of nine additional products, including the iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and a second-generation iPhone Air featuring a 2-nanometer A20 Pro chip. This shift moves the standard iPhone release cycle from fall to spring. Additional 2027 updates include refreshed MacBook Air and iPad models and new Apple Pencil styluses. To support these hardware launches, Apple released the stable version of iOS 27 and macOS Golden Gate on September 14, 2026, integrating the new Siri AI.
