Suvendu Adhikari Leads First Har Ghar Tiranga Rally in West Bengal
Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari led a Har Ghar Tiranga rally in Kolkata and announced official state celebrations for Raksha Bandhan.
Suvendu Adhikari, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, led a Har Ghar Tiranga rally in Kolkata on Monday. He walked approximately two and a half kilometers from Gaur Pal Sarani to the Victoria Memorial North Gate to mark the state's first participation in the central government's program, which runs from August 9 to 17.
The event follows the installation of a new BJP government in the state. During the rally, Adhikari announced the distribution of 70 lakh national flags across West Bengal and invited citizens to participate in a program on Red Road on August 15.
Additionally, the Chief Minister declared that the Raksha Bandhan festival will be officially celebrated this year to strengthen social bonds.
