British Airways Resumes Dubai Flights but Delays Abu Dhabi Service

British Airways will resume flights between London Heathrow and Dubai starting November 3, following a suspension of Middle Eastern services that began on February 28. The airline will initially operate one daily flight, with plans to increase frequency to twice daily next year.

While restoring the Dubai route, the carrier has removed Abu Dhabi from its 2027 long-haul schedule, delaying the resumption of service until the Winter 2027-2028 season. This marks the third delay for the Abu Dhabi route, which was previously slated to restart in late October and then January 2027.

British Airways is maintaining daily flights to Tel Aviv and Riyadh alongside the restored Dubai service. The airline stated that these schedule adjustments are a response to the ongoing situation in the Middle East to provide greater clarity for customers. Other international carriers, including Air France, Turkish Airlines, and Wizz Air, have also recently resumed or announced services to the United Arab Emirates.
