Airbus Targets Record 870 Aircraft Deliveries for 2026
Airbus delivered 74 aircraft in October and must average 125 monthly deliveries in November and December to reach its record annual target of 870.
Airbus SE delivered 74 aircraft in October 2026, bringing its total for the first 10 months of the year to 621. To achieve its annual delivery target of approximately 870 aircraft, which would represent a record annual tally, the company must deliver 249 aircraft across November and December, averaging 125 per month.
October deliveries were primarily single-aisle jets, including 39 A321neos and 15 A320neos. The company also booked 202 gross orders during the month. These orders were led by leasing firms Avolon and Aviation Capital Group, which each ordered 75 aircraft, and CIT Leasing, which ordered 35.
While the manufacturer maintained its production goals and delivery targets in its third-quarter update, it has previously lowered forecasts. These adjustments were driven by engine shortages and disruptions within the supply chain.
