Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, characterized the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) as a vital association for preserving shared history, culture, and spiritual values. In an interview with the Uzbekistan National News Agency, Aliyev stated that Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan utilize the OTS as a platform for interstate cooperation.
Aliyev emphasized that both nations are contributing to the development of political dialogue, economic cooperation, and transport and logistics connectivity. He noted that these efforts, alongside cooperation in science, education, and humanitarian affairs, are deepening the integration among Turkic states.
