Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova declared on Wednesday that European arms factories producing weapons for Ukraine are legitimate and potential military targets for Russia. Zakharova argued that European nations are directly involved in the conflict through military support and the establishment of joint ventures and arms factories, which she claims delays a resolution to the war.
These comments followed inquiries regarding whether Poland would host a factory for Patriot interceptor missiles intended for Ukraine. Zakharova asserted that those providing such support are not merely providing aid but are fully involved in the hostilities.
In response to the threats, NATO and various European countries maintained their commitment to supporting Ukraine's efforts to repel Russian forces and intercept drones and missiles.
