Pakistan Security Forces Kill 15 Terrorists in Balochistan Raids
Pakistani security forces killed 15 militants and seized weapons during intelligence-based operations across eight districts in Balochistan province.
Security forces from the Government of Pakistan killed 15 terrorists during a series of intelligence-based operations across the Balochistan province on August 9, 2026. The raids, conducted under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, targeted militant hideouts in the districts of Mastung, Bolan, Washuk, Awaran, Sibi, Khuzdar, Harnai, and Nushki.
Inter-Services Public Relations reported that the operations resulted in the recovery of a large cache of arms and ammunition. Military officials stated the actions inflicted significant damage on militant networks and restricted their movement across the province's border and mountainous zones.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the operations, stating they thwarted the plans of groups identified as Fitna-ul-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij. While most reports identify the campaign as Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, one source referred to it as Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad 3. Officials reaffirmed their commitment to continue the campaign until terrorism is completely eradicated from the region.
