Odisha Approves 19 Industrial Projects Worth Rs 3,280 Crore

The Odisha State Level Single Window Clearance Authority approved 19 industrial projects on Tuesday with a combined investment of Rs 3,280.58 crore. Chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg, the 150th meeting of the authority targeted the creation of 10,661 jobs across the biofuels, textiles, plastics, and tourism sectors.

Major investments include Rs 960 crore from Indian Oil Corporation Limited to establish Compressed Bio Gas facilities across eight districts and Rs 401.63 crore from Shri Dakshineshwari Maa Polyfabs Limited for a plastics facility in Khordha. Other approved projects include a Rs 125 crore integrated hosiery unit by Dollar Industries in Khordha and a Rs 54.31 crore Global Capability Centre by Tata Power.

Chief Secretary Garg stated that the approvals reflect a growing diversity in the state's investment landscape. She noted that the state is focusing on promoting value-added manufacturing and ensuring balanced regional development to strengthen industrial ecosystems.
