Coca-Cola Announces $10 Billion U.S. Infrastructure Investment

The Coca-Cola Company will invest $10 billion in U.S. infrastructure through 2030 to expand manufacturing, distribution, and sales across multiple states.

The Coca-Cola Company plans to invest $10 billion in United States infrastructure between 2026 and 2030. President and CFO John Murphy clarified that this figure represents a system-wide expenditure involving both the company and its bottling partners, rather than a standalone corporate capital expenditure. Murphy characterized the strategy as a move to capture boundless growth potential in the U.S. market rather than a hedge against tariffs.

The investment will primarily fund the expansion of manufacturing, distribution, and sales facilities. Planned projects are slated for several states, including Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and New York. Murphy noted that the majority of the funding comes from bottling partners investing at the local level.

Accompanying the announcement, the company released an independent study showing its U.S. system contributed $85 billion to the U.S. GDP in 2025 and supported nearly 1 million jobs. The company further reported spending approximately $37 billion with U.S. suppliers and contributing $177 million to community programs through the Coca-Cola Foundation and the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation.
